Call-To-Action Worksheet by Pastor Shana Wise
Most of us who were born and raised in the USA can agree that things have changed a lot since we have been living here. We are living in a time where we have never experienced or seen the issues that we are facing today. Our society is being more driven to accept the wrong things and shame the right things. Church attendance has been on the decline even before Coronavirus and fewer Americans are identifying themselves as Christians. Many people are walking away from the faith and following other religions, doctrines, movements, or just affiliating with atheists. During the last several years I have witnessed my fellow Americans and many of them who profess to be Christian are more committed to people, causes, and movements more than Christ.
During the 2020 global pandemic, many more people have lost hope. From joblessness, homelessness, natural disasters, death, increase in additions, abuse, sex-trafficking, increased crime, family members going astray, suicide increase, government officials fighting, division, divisiveness, scandals in the church, increased divorce rate, etc., people are mentally and emotionally drained in the USA. They are looking for hope in a world and future that seems so dim.
What are some of your concerns and fears as it relates to daily living and the future of our country?

We are the answer to many of the problems going on in the USA, however, so many of us have become distracted and fearful. Revival is not only needed in the church today, but evangelism and discipleship are what many people (the lost) are looking for but we are not providing it outside the walls of the church. Let us examine our purpose here on earth and what our assignment is within the USA and globally.
The Great Commission is Still Our Mission
Matthew 28: 18-20 (NKJV) And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Jesus is still in control no matter what it seems or looks like. Many ask, if he is in control why is it so much evil going on in the world? Answer #1 Sin. Answer #2 Prophecy must be fulfilled.
Do you believe that Jesus still has all power and authority with all that you see on a day-to-day basis in the USA (and global?) How do you know this to be true?

Definition of a disciple: A follower of Christ (Christian) or any other person or cause
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit’. What does this scripture mean to you, and how can we apply it in our everyday life here in the USA with the challenges of social distancing and not being able to gather in large crowds? Or how have your discipleship methods changed? Who have you met new this year?) How many people have you led to Christ this year?

In America, “the world” has no problem making disciples for their causes or agendas. Rather it’s democrat or republican, celebrity icon followers, BLM movement, militia’s, street gangs, and the list go on, it seems like others can disciple more people for their agenda more so than Christian disciple for the Kingdom of God. We as believers should be alarmed by this fact. We should not be comfortable having other agendas and movements that have nothing to do with the Kingdom of God, have more influence and power than the followers of Christ.
“Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you,”. The reason many people are not converted to being a disciple of Christ is that our witness has become weak through our actions and conversations. Think about your last conversation, was it, Christ-focused or “our feelings” focused?
Remember, during these uncertain times, we must remember that they are temporary. The problem that I see that we have as believers in the body of Christ (in the USA and global), is that we are more focused and bothered by temporary happenings (current events) than eternal (which is where God abides). We must know that all of us on the planet will one day have to die and go meet our Creator face-to-face, but will we be ready to answer regarding what we have been doing with our time spent here on earth?
“And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Do you feel sometimes that Jesus is not with you? For many in America, this has been a challenging year, and for some, it has made them ask the question, “God, where are you?” The number one search on Google this year has been God, Hope, and Faith. People are still looking to connect with a Higher Power than themselves and religion is not going to get them the answer(s) that they are looking for, rather love in action, from us demonstrating this, will. Can we pray for you in this area of feeling disconnected (email us)?

Don’t Let the Fruit Die on the Vine
Matthew 9: 36-38, But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Have you been being compassionate lately? What things have you been seeing or experiencing that breaks your heart and you feel like you want to do something about it?

Jesus saw the mass amounts of people who were weary scattered like sheep having no Shepard. What does that look like in the USA today?

I believe now is the time for the great harvest. Many people are looking to connect with the Creator but we must be ready and available to lead them to Christ. What is holding you back from being a witness for Christ?

What do you need to personally do to focus on your mission assignment here on earth? What do you need God to deliver you from?

You Have the Power to Complete the Mission!
Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
·God has given us all power to be a witness for him in the USA and globally. He has given us help through the Holy Spirit to accomplish this.
Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior Yet? If not, if you do and believe what the scripture says, you will be saved: Romans 10:9-13, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

This is our message to the USA and the globe, Jesus Christ has died and risen to give us not only eternal life but a relationship with the Father here on earth and through eternity.
